1980生まれ。祖母の影響で1歳半より筆を持つ。

第四十回 日展に入選。2010京展 京展賞受賞。以後活動の場を公募展から個展等に移す。

古典の品格を非常に大切にする一方、現代的でより視覚的な美しさや楽しさが混在した作品を制作している。

2012年 初個展開催。以後、 鎌倉 建長寺、大丸札幌店美術画廊、

松坂屋上野店アートスペース、京都 Au rendezvous des artistes等、定期的に各地で個展を開催。

また海外ではパリやロンドンでの展覧会にも出品する。

2026年にはLAにてライブパフォーマンスやワークショップを開催。

世界遺産 御室仁和寺をはじめ、各地でピアノ、尺八、クラシックギターと共にライブパフォーマンスを行う。

異ジャンルのアーティストとのコラボレーション、ロゴ製作、企業様向けにワークショップや講演等を行う他、

書を落とし込んだ建築内装のディレクションや、書のJewelry制作など活動は多岐にわたる。

Born in 1980, Daisuke Seno began practicing calligraphy at the age of one and a half under the guidance of his grandmother.

　

He was selected for the 40th Nitten Exhibition and received the Kyoto Exhibition Award in 2010. Since then, he has focused primarily on solo exhibitions.

　

Rooted in the traditions of classical calligraphy, he creates contemporary works that combine expressive brushwork with a wide range of materials.

　

His work has been exhibited throughout Japan, as well as in Paris and London. In Los Angeles, he has presented live calligraphy performances and workshops.

His practice also includes collaborations with artists and musicians, logo design, corporate workshops and lectures, and creative direction incorporating calligraphy.
